MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
 
Dear all,
 
Micropower is a young and innovative company that believes we can always do better to make a difference in our world. We are committed to enabling all Brazilian consumers to receive and have access to cheaper, cleaner and more reliable energy.
 
This commitment we have made to doing what is right for our world goes beyond the environment and also includes how we conduct our business and our relationships with each other. We are committed to the highest standards of ethics, to be absolutely honest, transparent and respectful at all times, inside and outside the company, and to respect all applicable laws and regulations. As we evolve our business, everything we do individually and collectively will be guided by these values. The trust we build with our customers, partners and employees is one of our company’s most precious assets.
 
The attached Code of Ethics and Conduct is just one of the tools we use to help guide our individual conduct and business decisions.
 
Therefore, I would like you to read this document carefully, both for guidance and as a reminder of what is expected of you, your colleagues, partners and customers, to help us maintain the highest ethical standards at Micropower.
 
I count on you to represent and widely communicate this Code to everyone who does business with us, as we grow together and make a difference inside and outside our communities.

Our values guide our daily lives as an organization, having a direct impact on the quality of our relationship with our internal and external audiences.
 
We seek constant improvement and excellence in the development of our activities, as a pioneering company in the use of new technologies and integrated solutions to accelerate decarbonization in the energy sector.
 
Therefore, this Code of Ethics and Conduct is applicable to all those who maintain any type of relationship with Micropower.
 
 
WHY A CODE OF ETHICS AND CONDUCT?
 
Micropower’s reputation is built by everyone, every day, as internal and external relationships take shape. Integrity in conducting our activities and relationships is a fundamental component of our corporate image and values that form an essential basis for our relationships.
 
Thinking about how we can practice this integrity that increases reliability, security and perpetuity, Micropower implemented the Code of Ethics and Conduct to disseminate its values to all employees and its public. Furthermore, the Code of Ethics and Conduct must be the guide for decision-making, based on our corporate commitments.
 
All those who maintain any relationships with Micropower must understand and follow the standards of behavior established in this Code of Ethics and Conduct.

This Code of Ethics and Conduct does not limit and does not have the capacity to predict, absolutely, all the situations we experience on a daily basis, however, it must serve as a guide for acceptable behaviors and limits. Micropower hopes that this Code will contribute to strengthening our culture, so that it stimulates a participatory, creative and productive work environment, guided by ethics, coherence, justice and within the highest quality standards.
 
 
APPLICABILITY
 
The guidelines contained in this Code of Ethics and Conduct must be known and complied with by all Micropower employees, its external customers, suppliers, service providers and partners in general.
 
Under the vision of this Code of Ethics and Conduct, all interested parties are located in the same general context and, therefore, are equally responsible for its compliance.

The Financial Director, who must provide guidance regarding consultation and adherence to this Code of Ethics and Conduct, also available on the website www.mpcenergy.com. br.
Leaders must seek commitment from their teams, disseminate the guidelines of this Code of Ethics and Conduct and encourage the search for results, always using good practices and ethical attitudes.
All employees must disclose and inform about the importance and obligation of complying with this material.
